HELLO! My name is Helen Maijub, Lincoln, NE. I am a current Business Management & Marketing Student at Union College. When I lived in Cuba as a young one I loved to hop from house-top-to-house-top (those were the good 'ol days). TIP: Get to know the students and have fun, but also get to know the teachers you work with. At the end of they day that's the team family that you are a part of.

Day 1 is complete and we are soon to start Day 2! I loved focusing on classroom management yesterday! It helped me get a better sense of what I want my Spanish Club to look like in regards of the teachers having a great attitude so that the children do as well. Can't wait to start Day 2!

Hello! My name is Kimberly and I'm from Maryland. A fun fact about me is that I was named after the character Kimberly from the show Diff'rent Strokes. (Random, I know). Also, I attended University of Maryland and received a Bachelor's in Romance Languages. I look forward to training and learning even better methods of involving introverted children. I would also like to learn better ways to effectively and quickly give explanations in Spanish. As I go into my second year, I have learned what works well and not so well but I would love to get even more feedback.

Buenos Dias! My name is Jon Yahr and I hail from Columbia, Maryland.
I never had much success learning Spanish in the classroom, and it wasn't until I hit the road and started travelling that it really began to stick. After a couple of years in Latin America and a couple in Spain, my accent is Latino to a Spaniard, and Spanish to a Latino. Go figure!
My fun fact is that I spend most of my free time rock climbing!
I look forward to meeting everybody! Cheers.

After the first day of training, I am impressed with the TLP class structure, and with how much of the learning is play-based. I am looking forward to seeing/putting it in action during the school year.
