Hello everyone! My name is Briana Orellana. I am from Cozad, Nebraska but attend college in Kearney at UNK. I got involved with TLP last year so this will be the beginning of the second year with TLP! My fun fact would be that my first and last name rhyme! Til this day I wonder if my parents did this on purpose or not! My tips for the new teachers would have to be to be prepared for your sessions by going over the lesson beforehand and even make some small notes on a note card. Also, just have fun and get to know your kiddos! If the teachers are having fun, it is almost guaranteed that the kids will have fun as well!

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah Rivera and I am from the Kansas City area (born and raised). I took 5 years of French in school and was fluent, but decided I wanted to teach myself Spanish so I did just that! I then became a certified medical interpreter and married a man from Honduras who doesn't speak very much English. Needless to say, we only speak Spanish at home and my 3 year old is bilingual. Spanish and the Hispanic culture is definitely one of my biggest passions in life. I am looking forward to meeting other teachers since I am a newbie!
